Police Search For 'Jimmy Jazz' Tote-Carrying Suspect In Robbery Of Bank In Fairfield County

Police are looking for a man with a Jimmy Jazz tote who allegedly robbed a bank in Fairfield County this month.

The robbery happened about 3:50 p.m. Friday, March 12 at a Chase Bank in Bridgeport, located at 2125 Main St.

During the incident, the robber passed a note to a teller and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management.

Detectives said the robber carried a tote bag with the name “Jimmy Jazz,” a shoe and clothing store in the New York/New Jersey areas.
